He dressed like a woman and looked so attractive since he had a big bum.<br/><br/>According to ‘her’ colleagues, the suspect had been in the business for a while now and they had never suspected anything. He always looked like a woman and was smartly dressed all the time. He parked along River Road near Coast Bus offices.<br/><br/>Speaking to the media, the suspect admitted that he started dressing like a woman and practicing prostitution last year. <div><a href="http://talkafriq.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Rebecca-360x225.jpg"><img alt="Rebecca-360x225" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-4605" height="187" src="http://talkafriq.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Rebecca-360x225-300x187.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><br/><div>The Lagos State Police Command for allegedly beating her husband’s three-year-old niece, Deborah Bassey, to death, has arrested a 21-year-old woman, Rebecca Bassey. According to police authorities, the suspect beat up the girl because she vomited and defecated on herself. A police source told reporters on Thursday  that the incident occurred at Ijaiye Ojokoro area of the state on July 22, 2013.</div><br/><div></div><br/><div>He said, “The victim (Deborah) lost her mother in 2010. Early this year, Deborah’s father was evicted from his home and he decided to send Deborah and his second child to go and stay with his brother, Vincent, until he settles down.</div><br/><div></div><br/><div>“Deborah and her nine-year-old sister were living with Vincent and his wife, Rebecca, in a one-room apartment at Powerline, Jankara, Ijaiye Ojokoro. However, Rebecca was always maltreating the two children.”</div><br/> <br/><div></div><br/><div>According to police investigations, on the day of the incident,   Deborah woke up around 5.30am with a high temperature.</div><br/><div></div><br/><div>The three-year-old girl was said to have started vomiting and defecating soon after. This was said to have angered Rebecca, who instead of administering treatment to the child, decided to beat her up.</div><br/><div></div><br/><div>A police source said, “In the process of beating the girl, the suspect pushed her and she fell, hitting her head against the edge of a wooden chair in the room.”</div><br/><div></div><br/><div>Reporters learnt that the victim started to bleed from the head. Some neighbours rushed her to Ahmadiyya Hospital, where she was referred to Orile Agege General Hospital where she later died.</div><br/><div></div><br/><div>A woman leader in the area, Kudirat Ogunseyi, was said to have reported the matter to Ijaye Ojokoro Police Division after which the suspect was arrested.</div><br/><div></div><br/><div>Some neighbours, in their statements at the police station, described the suspect as a hot-tempered woman, who was fond of beating the children.</div><br/><div></div><br/><div>“The way that woman beats up the children was very worrying to the extent that the landlord had threatened to evict them,” one of the statements reads.</div><br/><div></div><br/><div>  Vincent  told the police that he was not present when his wife beat his niece to death.</div><br/><div></div><br/><div>“I was not at home when the incident happened. I am a photographer during   daytime  but I   work as a vigilante  group member.  So I hardly sleep at home,” he said.</div><br/><div></div><br/><div>The suspect however said she did not kill the victim deliberately. She said she only pushed Deborah and she hit her head against the chair.</div><br/><div></div><br/><div> “I am a housewife and I have a 10-month-old baby. I did not mean to kill her (Deborah). I only pushed her because she vomited and defecated on the floor. I was only trying to correct her. It was not deliberate. I am a mother too and I know how I would feel if my son was killed,” she said.</div><br/><div></div><br/><div>It was learnt that the matter had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba.</div><br/><div></div><br/><div>A source at the SCID said the police were waiting for autopsy. He added that if other wounds were found on  other parts of the victim’s body, it would prove that the victim was indeed tortured before her death.</div><br/><div></div><br/>When contacted on the telephone, the Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide, said she would call back.

The incident happened on 26 December 2013.<br/><br/>The stepmother of the two minors, who are teens revealed that she caught them busy in the act in the early hours of Boxing Day in the sitting room where they sleep as she was making her way to the toilet to relieve herself.<br/><br/>In an interview last Thursday the shocked mother said her daughter (14) opened up about the siexual relationship with her brother (15) after she and her husband had thoroughly beaten the incestuous siblings.<br/><br/>“She told us that every night after everyone had gone to sleep the two of them would have se’x because her brother had proposed love to her. “She said he told her that it was natural for people who love each other to have se’x. I am amazed that she fell for that because she is an intelligent girl. “But we got nothing from the brother as he refused to co-operate. He denied that he was sleeping with his sister. He even called me a liar in front of his father and said I was falsely accusing him because I hate him,” she said.<br/><br/>The stepmother, who disclosed that she and her husband had been fed up with the disgraced boy and had concurred to send him to his biological mother who stays in Pumula South high-density suburb, said she was finding it difficult to face her neighbours and friends after the embarrassing incident somehow became known through the gr*pevine.<br/><br/>“I don’t know how news of what happened got out, it goes to show that walls have ears, but I can tell you that the whole family is embarrassed. When we are walking on the streets we see that people are talking about us and somehow you become paranoid and think that everyone who laughs, whispers or looks at you is talking about the se’xual relationship of my son and daughter,” she said. The father was not available to comment. The discredited sister told Sunday News that the incident had given her sleepless nights and destroyed her family.<br/><br/>“My father now hates us and I can tell that he is disgusted by the way he looks at me. I am sorry for what I did and I wish I had not done it. My brother was chucked out of the house and he now lives in Pumula South with my mother,” said the tearful 14-year-old. Sunday News called the disgraced brother last Friday morning and he denied that he was sleeping with his sister and vowed that he was going to make his stepmother pay for tarnishing his image.<br/><br/>“I love my sister and my stepmother is jealous of that. She has always been on my case because I don’t treat her like my mother. She is the reason my parents’ marriage ended. I hate her. She is lying that I was sleeping with my sister, I can never do that because it’s unnatural,” he said .

<a href="http://talkafriq.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/steal.png"><img alt="steal" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-4498" height="258" src="http://talkafriq.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/steal-300x258.png" width="300" /></a><br/><br/>A 19-year-old girl was tortured for 13 hours by two women after she was wrongly accused of stealing a mobile phone.<br/><br/>Katie McNamara was lured to a house by her former friend Francesca Raby, 18, before her marathon ordeal took place.<br/><br/>During the horrific attack, Raby and her friend Kelly Louise Garrity, 26, punched, burned, kicked and stabbed McNamara before locking her in a cupboard.<br/>The two women hacked off McNamara's long black hair and forced her to lick her own blood off the floor.<br/><br/>After Raby and Garrity were sentenced for assault and false imprisonment, McNamara, now 20, spoke of her horrific attack.<br/>She said: 'I thought I was going to die. They were going to keep me another night if the neighbour had not turned up.<br/>'I kept asking them to stop but they carried on, laughing at me. I was really scared when they were stamping on my head. I couldn't escape - they had locked the front door and there were two of them, I had no chance.<br/>'They cut my hair and then put my face into a mirror and said "you don't look so pretty now". Maybe they were jealous of my looks. I will never forgive them for what they did.'<br/>Katie's injuries were so severe her mother Denise didn't even recognise her in the hospital bed.<br/><br/>Sentencing the two women at Minshull Street Crown Court, Judge Jonathan Geake said: 'That night, possibly affected by a cocktail of drugs and alcohol, you allowed your darker sides to get the better of you in a most bizarre way.
